Solar PV and battery storage development
Aura Power is actively developing energy projects in the UK. We have a maturing pipeline of solar photovoltaic (PV) energy generation and battery-based utility-scale storage across the country. We also operate a fully-funded specialist energy management battery solution for industrial demand consumers. We operate framework contracts with National Grid for ancillary services.
Our philosophy is to work closely with grid network operators, landowners, local communities, planning specialists and other local stakeholders to identify and mature the most viable projects. Our UK team operates from our headquarters in Bristol and our project office in Cheltenham.

We have a strong and active presence in our home marketplace. In addition to the above projects, key highlights include our development of one of the UK’s largest operational community solar schemes (Carlam Hill), and one of the first Enhanced Frequency Response (EFR) battery storage projects (Nevendon 10MW). Our 15MW Lockleaze battery storage project was the largest in the UK when it was energised in June 2017.
